           Russell Smith, a pilot with over 50 years of flight experience walked away with minor injuries to his hand and a splitting headache after the six-seater Cessna 421 Twin Engine he was piloting crashed into a huge Oak tree in Alabama and burst into flames. The plane's twisted wreckage was tangled in the branches of the tree as the flames spread and smoke billowed with the pilot trapped inside.                                                           Audrey Morris, a shop owner in the area said "I heard a big boom, I looked out I thought a tornado hit. A three year old boy was attacked and bitten by a stray dog (lurcher-type hound) as he walked alongside his dad. The boy was immediately rushed to hospital for treatment to injuries to his face. His family agreed to release images of the wounded toddler to warn people and also assist the police in tracking down the dog. According Mirror UK Emergency services were called to Birkinhead, in Liverpool, on Monday after reports a child had been bitten by a dog. The boy was walking with his dad on a path between Noctorum Avenue and the Woodchurch estate when he was set upon at around 2.30pm. The boy was rushed to hospital for treatment to injuries to his face and was discharged today.
